Here in Malawi there are many without any money who are unable to buy maize which is the main food for a lot of the African people, from December until the harvest. These months before the harvest of maize in April/May, are called the "hungry months". 

We are currently aiming to put donations towards other means of help as there is enough food for everyone at this time of year. Please see here what other project we are funding.
